| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:39 am » Land Rovers are a pile of cr*p spend far to long being repaired |
|
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:39 am » ok cheers K, nice talking to you my friend CHOW |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:38 am » okay and how is it better than Land Rover, which is the nearest contender to Shogun? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:38 am » Best TOV Shogun does exactley what it says on the tin |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:37 am » falkor nice talking to you but I have to go and get ready for work I need to prepare to face my public and believe me that takes a while for me. |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:36 am » which is the best T.O.V?
|
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:35 am » No it doesn't bother me i'll dry or sleep oops sorry navigate |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:35 am » haha do you really care though? |
|
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:34 am » I guess the wannabees are still better than the dead wood huh? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:34 am » Yes we have a few key grabbers but afte nearly 5 years we know who they are and don't let the get away with it |
|
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:34 am » I guess the wannabees are still better tha the dead wood huh? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:33 am » Unfotunatley we have the wannabees but they are a minority |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:33 am » do you prefer driving or navigating? do you find T.Os at your outstation who always want to be the driver or who never want to be the driver?
|
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:32 am » too modest K, there is danger out there for sure and oh my god I don't believe what I'm reading - haha that made my day re the wannabees, but so true |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:31 am » The biggest danger I face is not getting my snap on time LOL |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:31 am » The ones that like to think they are the police at the moment there colleague can keep and eye on them so they don't over step the mark but let them out on there own and all hell could break out |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:28 am » it will play into the wannabees hands? I don't understand, please clarify |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:28 am » Not sure if you read our procedures on single crewing there is not a lot you can do single crewed so unless the procedures change it would be a waste of time, the other thing is that it will justplay into the wanabees hands |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:27 am » haha it's pretty difficult - you have to remember them I'm afraid, here you missed a Q back there k
|
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:26 am » Don't know much more that i have already said it was probably just a rumour but I heard it a couple of years ago. How do I get smilies on these messages |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:25 am » variable crewing? is it happening K?
|
|
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:24 am » well yeah I know what you mean, I could never watch THE BILL, same thing as you are saying but "Motorway Patrol" is honestly such a corker!! just try 1 episode! you'll get hooked! |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:23 am » No I don't watch a lot of TV especially all the Police and Emergency service one's I have enough of that at work |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:22 am » amazing, any more detail on that please? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:22 am » Yes alledgedly BTP were offer the TO service originally and turned it down because they didn't want the hassle of setting it up but now its up and running they might be interested |
|
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:20 am » here have you seen Motorway Patrol on Bravo? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:20 am » Hope not I like being the good guy don't want to start with FPN's and all the paperwork that can involve. |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:19 am » sold off to BTP ? British Transport police?? |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:18 am » yeah and we all know what that means, do you really think that would happen? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:17 am » Not sure at the moment can't see any expansion ie APTR but possibly sold off to BTP or find some way for the TO service to bring money in. |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:15 am » now that we have a new Government in, do you think anything will change for T.Os?
|
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:14 am » Yes seems ages ago |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:13 am » hehe just found the Keokeo interview circa 2007 at http://www.nationaltraffic.co.uk/keokeo.html yikes how long ago does that seem now - hehe |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:12 am » Filling all the forms in and thinking of examples,a hinsight being a wonderful thing I now realise that most things I did in previous occupations would have been OK to put down but being as though they were things I did day in day out I didn't think they were anything special |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:07 am » the competition for the jobs is huge, many applicants don't even get a reply, how much of a hassle did you find it being appointed as a HATO? what was the worst part of the application process?
|
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:07 am » Yes I'm convinced that half the people that got in originally would not make it now as it seems to be a lot harder to get in on the rare occasions there are any vacancies |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:07 am » is it a dangerous job? what's the biggest danger for you as a T.O?
|
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:05 am » crikey I think I did see one advert in 4 years - not many adverts lately huh? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:05 am » Like everyone else read the advert and thought that souns good I'll try for that I was self employed at the time enjoyed what I did earned a decent wage but fancied a change. |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 10:03 am » I was going to ask you K, what made you decide to go for HATO?
|
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 10:03 am » Not sure I can answer that as i work with all of them. |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:58 am » we are just deciding who was THE legend of 2006? both you and Keokeo joined NT in the launch year |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:58 am » Bob what happened squire? |
| Bob Parr « Tue May 18, 2010 9:57 am » morning |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:56 am » which was your favourite? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 9:55 am » Jezza,Pongolad,Bill gates, Northern lad, The Punisher to name a few |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:54 am » so K do you remember the early members like Charl_Hunter, UKmedic1, Vic Mackey, RT, Flash, kipper - who else was there?
|
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:52 am » I think he's on a mission Keokeo - top mission of the day, what do you reckon? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 9:51 am » Is Bob not talking to us then falkor |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:46 am » flippin heck Bob Parr is on scene and dealing, do you use petrol Bob? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 9:45 am » Yes been there done that just need the T-shirt now (Burning it with the petrol) |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:42 am » burning it? here anyway you joined this site a couple of months after I did, that is pretty early to join the site, so basically you have seen everything that has happened to the site, the move from phpBB2 to phpBB3 in 2008, the virus that we got on NT some while after that, that ended up with us having to move to national-pcsos, you have been there and seen it all
|
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 9:42 am » Electric never quite got the hang of burning it!!!!! |
| falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:41 am » hehe just cut the grass eh? electric or petrol? |
| Keokeo « Tue May 18, 2010 9:40 am » Just cut the grass, now having a brew before getting ready for late shift. |
falkor « Tue May 18, 2010 9:40 am » hiya pally -

| slabber « Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:18 pm » is anyone else tying the main chat room? |
| Wrist Assessment « Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:18 pm » They never had calculators when I were a lad - more like abacus's. Bad RTC up your way this morning - I beleive the Willy Betts wagon was driving on the wrong side of the road. Bloody hell |
| slabber « Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:17 pm » I suppose when you get to your age, using a calculator is difficult!!! |
| Wrist Assessment « Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:16 pm » Buggered if I know!!! All this technology is well beyond me |
| slabber « Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:16 pm » what are you using? my chat button is top left!! |

slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:39 am » I recommend ukpol, it's a good site, sorry for delay in replying, a bacon butty called!! |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:06 am » okay well thanks again my friend, a lot of people were invited and a lot of people didn't want to know so - I do appreciate it, thanks again |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:03 am » haha just to update the chat a little I asked slabber about http://www.ukpoliceonline.co.uk/ which he recommends, is that right slab? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:02 am » No chance!!!!! |
|
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:01 am » cheers slab and if you ever get bored - just pop the question to her online! that should liven things up |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:01 am » Not a problem, her indoors is have a moan that I've been on long enough, she can make me a cuppa to ease my poor fingers!! |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:59 am » well I would like to thank you for spending the last 60 minutes with me chatting over various NT and T.O related issues, it has been a pleasure, thanks indeed for coming along slab |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:59 am » I feel that they would be asked, it wouldn't be thrust upon them if they don't feel confident. It would be a recipe for disaster. The facebook groups seem reasonably quiet. They have good member numbers just not a lot of people posting regular |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:57 am » seems we're singing from the same hymn sheet on that one
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:57 am » I've worked on my own in many jobs and feel confident enough to single crew |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:56 am » exactly!! the idea will be you have to wait for a second patrol to turn up, what's the point in that, if it's a double crew, they can crack on with the job in hand. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:56 am » " granted there are TOs who wouldn't do it" would they have a choice then slab? |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:55 am » well you said "the motorway can be unforgiving if you take your eye of the ball." who is going to watch your back if you're single crewed? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:54 am » I don't think it will work, as it will create "elitism" amongst the lads, granted there are TOs who wouldn't do it, and some who shouldn't!!! |
|
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:52 am » fair comment, isn't this variable crewing going to create a division in T.Os? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:51 am » Not providing you stay alert and watch each others backs, the motorway can be unforgiving if you take your eye of the ball. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:51 am » is it a dangerous job? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:50 am » I fully intend on staying tiil I retiire unless a 44 tone LGV has other ideas!! |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:50 am » slab you sound like a veteran T.O for sure, are you in it for the long haul?
|
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:49 am » what does she base that on ? sheesh! |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:49 am » I spotted that on one of the many forums I frequent, the wife reckons I use the computer too much!! |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:48 am » yeah I saw that zebra crossing clip that you posted from BBC, the interesting thing about that was that 3 Police solos guided that zebra to the central crash barrier and MET POLICE have always steadfastly insisted that the motorway is no place for solos! beautiful clip though, loved it, great commentary too
|
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:48 am » There's only one slabbers, the rest are just pale imitations. |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:47 am » yeah shame we don't hear much from Vic now and it looks like somebody has now kicked off a rival bar!! what's going on slab?
|
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:46 am » It was a dead end job, I only used it to find my feet in civvie street before moving onto better things, are you on about the rowdy bar? I mentioned to Vic Mackay about an area to let off steam where almost anything goes, similar to the NAAFI bar over on the army rumour service website. State 11 was born along with my delightful premises. |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:44 am » I think you are the only member on the site to have an actual forum in your name, how did that happen?
|
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:43 am » I worked as a security guard in Croydon's "CUSTODIAN SECURITY" and was proud to get made security sergeant after a few months, loved that job |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:42 am » We shadowed with 3 different forces during our training, granted it was 100's of miles from where we actually work but it gave us a taster as to what they do. I worked as a security guard on a building site when I first left the army. It was lowly paid, but I was single with no outgoings so it was beer tokens. |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:40 am » you said "I would, I've worked 5x14 hour shifts in a week, every week in one of my previous jobs!" are you able to say what the previous job was slab?
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:40 am » I wouldn't thinks so, as we don't have blues and twos and we're not allowed to speed. Plus if we end up nicking someone the TOV is going to be off road whilst the DP is processed. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:40 am » I have never heard of T.Os working a shift with BiB - really positive move by your TM, they should really get acknowledgement there |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:38 am » fantastic gotta say - here would there be any benefit in doing it the other way around? a BiB on shadowing duties on a TOV? |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:37 am » Our police do 10 hour shifts, some of the guys have been out 2 or 3 times, I actually enjoyed the duty, it was a refreshing change, as you know, a change is as good as a rest. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:35 am » so you've all been out at least once, that means that some have been out more than once, isthis for an entire 8 hour shift with BiB? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:34 am » It's been going on since we started, she's very good with stakeholder liaison |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:33 am » jolly good idea, never heard of this before, never read of this on NT, how long has this TM been organising this, he should get a medal |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:32 am » I don't know, I've never seen one. We've all been out at least once in my county. We don't get involved with the police work side of things, but we're invaluable at RTC jobs as they can leave us to get on with traffic management whilst they deal with the job in hand. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:31 am » T.Os go on patrol with Police in Police Vehicles? jesus! is there a thread on this? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:30 am » We go on patrol with the police in their vehicles, fully kitted up with personal radio so we can respond to jobs on either radio network. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:29 am » shadowing duties? please clarify |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:28 am » We have a pretty good relationship with our local 5-0, it was a little frosty to start with, but as the service has matured and we've shown them what we can do, they've mellowed. Plus our stakeholder TM has worked hard getting shadowing duties organised so when we turn up at jobs it's more first name terms now which is only a good thing |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:26 am » ok moving on to real life is there a rapport between T.Os and Police where you are?
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:25 am » They have a download section where various forms etc are loaded to for reference purposes, we already have them as links at the top of the forum whereas over there, they are all located under the same section |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:23 am » possibly but apart from the medal ribbons and shields ..... any other stuff they have that would be good on here? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:23 am » I don't know if he was the same black rat that used to post on here when I first joined all those many moons ago. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:22 am » I have a feeling that I met the guy who runs ukpoliceonline on a course in Banstead a few years back (1999) he was the instructor I was a student! since then we have emailed each other a few times and he remembers me well, not only from the course but operationally |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:21 am » They quite like the system, we all have black/yellow chequered medal ribbons to show we are serving HATOs, we also get "Resident HATO" status which allows us more PM space, a private area away from prying eyes and the facility to upload more photos and files etc unlike regular members, the serving police officers also have their own private area. |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:17 am » hmmm what do the other 2 muskerhatos say about these medal ribbons and karma shields? have they commented on them? |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:17 am » They have an awards system that awards medal ribbons, whereas we have stars, they also have karma shields, so the more you post good topics and get involved with the site the more shields you get. I currently have 4 out of the maximum 5! |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:14 am » what has ukpoliceonline got that we haven't got? talking forums facilities here
|
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:14 am » It's still ticking along nicely, there are 3 main HATOs on there geeing them up or the 3 Muskerhatos as we call ourselves!! We have a good laugh over there, but we always come "home" |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:13 am » what's happening on ukpoliceonline lately? at one point they had superior smilies to us didn't they?
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:12 am » Our instructor in basic training referred to it as the slab and it kinda stuck!! I've had a look round the back up site, everything appears to be in order. You also know I also frequent a number of your other forums, I know, I oughta get out more!! |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:10 am » so did you check out the back up site? its actually bolted onto the prison officer site!
|
|
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:10 am » the slang for the motorway is the slab, no I can't say I knew that but heeeey COOOL |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:09 am » I provided the tie pin company with 4 different angles of all 3 patrol vehicles, the preferred the disco saying it looked the most substantive so they went with that. |
|
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:07 am » yeah I read that, wait a minute, "slabber" ! slabber? what is slabber anyway? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:06 am » The next one, although still the disco will have gold backing instead of the current silver |
|
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:06 am » nice one so I just saw an image of one, does look prestine I have to say, very cool |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:06 am » The CSBF were offered them but turned them down. They obviously didn't realise how popular they'd become. I received an email from them saying they don't do tie pins as they got stung on the last one. Their loss over 200 sales and still climbing |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:05 am » very nice although it would be great to have two versions
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:04 am » the chief himself that should read!! |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:04 am » the chief! sheeesh and the CSBF are interested in them I heard
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:04 am » They sure are, the chiehimself has one now!! |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:03 am » and are T.O.s wearing them?
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:03 am » only if it's a disco pin, however they've been sold across 5 different forums so they could be from any of them sites;) |
falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:02 am » ok here slab are there tie pins circulating outstations that could be associated with NT? going rate on ebay £12.50?
|
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:01 am » Not too sure, i'm off for 4 days so i'll find out all the juicy goss when I get back |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:01 am » what's the latest? |
|
slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:01 am » I'm fine thanks |
| falkor « Sun Mar 07, 2010 10:00 am » hiya Slab, how you doing? |
| slabber « Sun Mar 07, 2010 9:59 am » Morning!!! |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 6:17 pm » ummmm just an update on a few things talked about earlier on today: I mentioned www.blitzcoder.com the site I went to in 2003 where I first saw forums in action, sadly those forums no longer exist and were taken down a few years back - the other sites mentioned were http://policecommunitysupportofficer.com/ http://www.ufoforums.co.uk/ http://national-ambulance.com/ and http://prisonofficer.org.uk/index.php thanks to Off Network and Haywain for taking part and in a very lively and cheerful AJAX CHAT SESSION today, it was a pleasure for sure |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:53 am » Snap - go safe. Bye |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:52 am » Good talking but I must go - local farmer's Market calling for my attention! |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:52 am » Sunday fry up is ready so I will have to go. Good talking to you. |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:52 am » Aye |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:51 am » Something to look forward to. |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:50 am » I know the feeling - but he has promised to visit every outstation in time |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:49 am » Me neither but I do not invited to that kind of do! |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:47 am » Never met him - next one will have to be Simon Chelden-thingy |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:47 am » LOL |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:46 am » I will look forward to his next appearance and see if he is wearing it |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:45 am » Presented in East region apparently |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:45 am » I think he has one |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:44 am » May be Graham will come to look and realise it is a good thing |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:43 am » I have a tie pin - but confess not to wearing |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:42 am » should be - HA not brought into |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:42 am » I ruffle enough feathers without NT being laid at my door! As long as the HA is brough into disrepute or anything official is directly copied though, I think they would struggle to make anything stick |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:41 am » That seems to be the norm. The tie pins have caused some questions to be asked |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:40 am » Not sure - hasn't been mentioned for ages. However I'd prefer to stay incognito |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:38 am » H do you still have a Stormtrooper problem or have TPTB eased off |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:37 am » Nice talking and thanks for everything. |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:37 am » Cheerio |
|
falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:36 am » cheers e bye - I have a precocious daughter stamping her feet |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:36 am » Was run run by a TO, who was told to desist or get out |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:36 am » yeah I guess so, "HATOs on line" ? |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:35 am » Luck to find you Falk - as you're aware previous attempts had been stamped on |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:34 am » What ever happened to "HATOs on line" |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:31 am » well similar to the thing with The Wanderer, TW was on PCSO.com and eventually it transpired that there was no Tos site - NT was born |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:30 am » How did you get the Prison Officers to start talking? |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:29 am » well there are 3 main sites TBH, NT, prison officer and PCSOs, those are the 3 big ones plus a couple more small forums natn ambo and UFOs |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:28 am » How many do you run? |
|
falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:27 am » yeah it does for sure so it pretty much a hobby, phpBB.com provide superb support and so does Balckfoot, between them, they make it so I have somebody to run to 24/7 |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:26 am » But it must take an amazing number of hours to keep it running |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:25 am » it all started when I found a Blitzcoder forum back in 2003, I loved it and loved the fact that it had zero advertising, ok there is not zero ads on here but pretty close, that's what motivated me after seeing what Blitzcoders did for Blitz users |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:24 am » Ahah - a reverse interview - come on falk! |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:24 am » What motivates you to provide this - and other excellent sites? |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:22 am » hehe well you have to keep warm, what else is there to talk about ON? |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:22 am » They got issued (on request) they keep your head and ears warm. Official looking_no way |
|
Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:21 am » Definitely only nightwear, they look ridiculous but do the job - very cosy |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:19 am » so Gortex Ice Hats? how did you get one? what do they look like? are they official? |
| Haywain « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:19 am » I carry one in my bag but not on my belt |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:18 am » Haywain do you go for that? |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:18 am » Yep, providing its less than 4 inches and does not lock |
| falkor « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:17 am » well I still think single crewing is wrong, almost as bad as not getting double pay on Christmas Day which is taking the piss wholesale but ON would you recommend other TOs carry a leatherman? is it legal to do so? |
| Off Network « Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:17 am » Thats the truth |
