That's really good for a branded compact torch with that much light output. I've got something similar that was half the price, but which runs on the expensive CR123 3volt batteries that I had to get a set of rechargeables for

I think i deserve Maglite shares - i have tonnes of the things, though most have managed to walk themsleves to my dad's work van - grr!

Led Lenser are well worth the money, i had the v2 and then invested in the police tech focus after the v2 went for a stroll in work and never returned. Theyre great lights and neat, tail cap switch means easy to operate with gloves on and the PTF does spot to flood also, handy

Got mine off a shop on eBay who even engraved my name on it (to limit its potential to go walkies and not return) got a rigid pouch for it too, all quite cheap compared to high street prices.

Have a look at this link if you want a brilliant torch...I've used mine since I started with the TOS and I now refuse to go on any night work without it! Just brilliant.
Only one battery and that's rechargeable so you never need to buy more! Great beam for searching the verges for "Lights seen in the verge" calls and it stops the TO looking like a thug with the maglite hanging off the belt!

Highly recommended.
