Assessment Centre 2010 NW

Hi, I have recently applied for a TO position in the NW, the applications were to be submitted by the 25th Jan , with the assessment centre dates set between the 18th and 26th Feb. Does anyone have any idea when we will be advised if we have been successful or not, and will it be by email, post or a telephone call? .. I am currently playing the waiting game , and climbing the wall in the process lol

You should get a letter soon. If you dont get one with a few days to go until the first assessment day, then ring the recruitment number you were given. With so many people to inform, no doubt some letters will get lost in the system and remain undelivered. Dont let it be yours if it contains good news, youll kick yourself for it!

They will be contacting those successful during next week, for assessments the following week! Think it will be at an airport hotel. Hope this helps.

I've just done TM assessment day. I had a phone call shortly after the letter arrived to ask wether I was coming, and another a day or 2 before the assessment to make sure I hadn't changed my mind, so don't worry too much about lost post .

That's only 'cos they're desperate to get bodies through, so it makes it look as if they're recruiting Internally
I'd lay money on it going external too.....

I know of three internal candidates that made it to TM, one I think is very good, a second who has since left the service was okay ish and the third is not up to very much at all. I also know of several internal candidates who failed the assessment and I can agree with the majority of the decisions but there are a couple who still do TRA and do the job to a very good level and still cant make it past the post.

thanks for that wanabee, i have heard nothing at all since i sent in my application , i did call them to ensure that they had recieved it, so its now in the hands of the gods... i will keep my fingers crossed.... and good luck to you too m8
