Latest NETWORK mag in the O/S has the latest information on call signs in...makes dry reading though.

Its all in the fantastic mag we call TIM with the SW regions call signs. Have a look.

What I find amusing is they have a DAY car and it says DAY CAR EARLY LATE NIGHT refering to its call signs. Isnt a day car a DAY car.

I'd suggest an audio version, but I'm sure that'll be wrong as it wouldn't be multilingual!

Apparently contains incorrect info though, as East Mids will use prefix 'Echo' (for ERIC Belfield House RCC) rather than the published 'November' (for Nottingham). At least this avoids possible confusion with November Lima b-i-bs and the late car in this area

Lots of "ers" and "sorry I mean..." calls yesterday, myself included.

We had one officer nearly go through the entire phonetic alphabet just to get to his callsign!!

As I was leaving from nights I heard the earlt T.M. make the first call of the day and he got it............wrong, gave everyone a laugh soon be my turn to give it large.

I nearly had a couple of slips yesterday on my first late shift, but still got through as the consummate professional!!

I was on duty the on the Sunday morning, and I have to say what brilliant laugh we all had trying to remember the call signs and how the RCC, bless them, had to change to.
Good laugh.
