what's on BBC iplayer? or 4od?

I got hooked on this last week when I was on holiday up North

In the cottage we were staying at this was on every day on Channel 4, so I saw about 10 minutes of some of the programmes while I was waiting for my missus to get ready

anyway, I got home and found the whole lot on Channel 4 "iplayer" WICKED!!!!!

what do you rate on BBC iplayer .... or Channel 4 "iplayer" ??

I find the iPlayer a lot better to use, its quicker and lets me hear radio shows as well as TV that I have missed. 4OD requires registration and logging into every time you wish to view something, but is prepared to show a hell of a lot of repeated programming, something BBC tend not to do.

Hmmm..thats not really a decision is it?...the BBC has the radio 1 music shows and 4OD has some great documentaries. Found one on the Titanic disaster the other week and it was really well made (unlike the ship).

So, to sum up, I like them both!

Neither at the moment, they don't work in bloody America!!

On the other hand, I do find that both programmes work well on my laptop. Sometimes it is nice to curl up in bed and watch TV, which is mostly what I use them for.

Both are a million times better than the ITV player thing, that's really pants.

Daisy, Did you try the free site I mentioned? It is very good for watching television but I don't know if it works abroad.

I watched 'traffic cops' on iplayer last night and it worked brill, as did the few Apprentice episodes i had to watch on there. Not tried 4od though.

iPlayer works very well for me, ITV catchup tends to freeze every few seconds and is very annoying when you're trying to watch a program!
