Re: VIDEO OF THE YEAR 2014

Good videos although yours BM were slightly less rehearsed :slhi:

I like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nk4vHMxCwq8

Very professional PCSO, kept his calm even whilst being faced by a camera holding complete and utter pain in the backside MOP..

Re: Whatever you do, dont do this...

Don't eat a full bag of prunes the night before you are due to speak at an important annual general meeting at the town council....

Re: Stop and Account

I am always friendly and polite and usually there are no problems... unless I am confiscating precious items at the same time!

Re: CYCLING ON THE FOOTWAY

We only have one pedestrianized street on my patch. The rest is pavements beside busy roads. I usually dont say anything to anyone riding sensibly as the roads are too dangerous for cycles. However, when young boys on BMX take it 30mph down the high street weaving in and out of people I will shout a...

Re: game of thrones TV series

Hubby and I are massive fans! Just watched the last episode in series 3 and if you have not seen it yet I shant reveal too much. Just that I was on the edge of my seat and there was a moment as momentous as when Ned Stark was decapitated by Joffrey in series 1 (Love Joffrey who is just so deliciousl...

Re: PCSO with Asperges

"A friend" Its not you is it? :slww: Either way, it should have no bearings anyway as the police is a equal opportunities employer and will accommodate most "illnesses". If this PCSO has been doing his/her job satisfactorily for the last 5 years what should it matter anyway? A lo...

Re: P.C.S.O Process

To be fair alot of people fail the fitness test, which is being chased by a group of youths around a 400m track whilst in an oversized high vis jacket...you'll be doing a lot of that along with sitting in the back seat if a police car.PCSO's aren't allowed to sit in front. Good luck and enjoy the l...

Re: Women doctors are ‘tremendous burden’ to NHS

I would hazard a guess that the female doctors who go part time are married to either doctors or someone on an even higher salary. If their hubby was a poor PCSO for example I would doubt they would want to lose all that money... So the answer is to only employ female doctors with poor husbands, pro...

Re: May Tells Police Not To Name Suspects

Innocent until proven guilty. However, as soon as someone is arrested everyone assumed automatically that they are guilty and yes, no smoke without a fire but it could also very easily be a mistake. How can you ever really clear your name after such an ordeal? I agree that unless that person is dang...

Re: PCSO Progression

I guess once you have PCSO on your CV that makes you more desirable for a lot of jobs outside of the police. I know a few PCSOs who have become ASB co-ordinators or similar (cant remember the exact title) within housing associations for example. There is no progression in my force and no PCSO superv...

Re: May Tells Police Not To Name Suspects

Me too. Especially in high profile cases where there is a chance that the allegation may be false. Something like that can ruin someones life even if it ends being NFAd.

Re: parents force traffic wardens to retreat

Parking outside schools will always be an issue. Having a few tickets issued once in a blue moon wont solve anything. Parking was decriminalised in Norfolk in 2012 so we cant even assist the schools if we wanted to. Furthermore, the majority of the zigzag lines outside schools are advisory only and ...
