Ya but when i was in the cadets it was a lot better now its all about the red tape and dot the i and cross the t to many snowflakes that run the place

Acting warrant officer , Good one and the dyslexia didnt stop you did it? I think all these Cadets are very good for our young people and I do know that the Scouts have had a lot of trouble getting their scout leaders lately in fact some scout troops have FOLDED with no scout leaders to keep it going which is horrendous

I used to be in the air cadets as an instructor acting warrant officer many years back

Cor you are so lucky from age 11, that is amazing, I know that is a long time to wait but maybe you can help with the Police Cadets in your new role, it would be worth asking , especially as you are qualified in Karate, this could be of interest to the Cadet leaders

Ya still going in durham but in some places they take them at 8 but durham its starts at 11 to 18 hes still to young to join the mini police

I think it all down to the force in the area up here in the north east its not that bad as to london but i think we need to be more equipped as we are still out on the front line all it take is to be in the wrong place if it kicks off and we have nothing to defend hour self am lucky as i do karate brown belt so i can look after my self and no not had the jab each to there own

BTP PCSOs have had handcuffs as standard issue for over 15 years

No not see it but ive seen a lot of pcso get punched and hit and am in favor of all staff having the asp it is better to have and not use then not have and cant use it let the pcso do the community policing and let the police do what they are trained to do

Well at the moment i will be happy to do this as it fits in with school in picking my son up as hes only 7 now

Not sure that would stop you, I was working with PCs back in 2001 in the Met Police who had dyslexia, they were perfectly good officers, MET POLICE more than happy

Ive always wanted to join but i did not know until i was 26 i had dyslexia so getting to do this will be a dream come true as it as always stopped me
