  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 9:18 pm
According to this, it was run by the council, https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk ... ts-1183462 I dont remember the council running it, drug finds are pretty good, maybe left there for pick up , stopping fights HAHA reminds me of school being a prefect :sljo:
  • ade174Sat Mar 06, 2021 9:15 pm

  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 9:02 pm
Thats just his choice of username, I think it actually comes from an old computer game, we're talking 20 years ago I think, has no significance BUT hes a jolly good bloke and a fine PCSO who knows JUDO (and uses it)
  • ade174Sat Mar 06, 2021 9:00 pm

  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 8:50 pm
Acting warrant officer , Good one and the dyslexia didnt stop you did it? I think all these Cadets are very good for our young people and I do know that the Scouts have had a lot of trouble getting their scout leaders lately in fact some scout troops have FOLDED with no scout leaders to keep it going :sloop: which is horrendous
  • ade174Sat Mar 06, 2021 8:48 pm
I used to be in the air cadets as an instructor acting warrant officer many years back
  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 8:45 pm

Ya will look into it when i get in will get settled
  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 8:40 pm
Cor you are so lucky from age 11, that is amazing, I know that is a long time to wait but maybe you can help with the Police Cadets in your new role, it would be worth asking , especially as you are qualified in Karate, this could be of interest to the Cadet leaders :slbx:
  • ade174Sat Mar 06, 2021 8:38 pm
Ya still going in durham but in some places they take them at 8 but durham its starts at 11 to 18 hes still to young to join the mini police

  • ade174Sat Mar 06, 2021 8:25 pm
I think it all down to the force in the area up here in the north east its not that bad as to london but i think we need to be more equipped as we are still out on the front line all it take is to be in the wrong place if it kicks off and we have nothing to defend hour self am lucky as i do karate brown belt so i can look after my self and no not had the jab each to there own
  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 8:15 pm
In 2017 in response to a FOI, this was published
Dear Freedom of information, for the information provided. Can I ask you to clarify one point; In your response you state; "The decision to issue British Transport Police PCSOs with handcuffs... was made in view of the potential risk of detaining persons in proximity to railway lines and the need to keep a detained person safe pending the arrival of a police officer."
BTP PCSOs have had handcuffs as standard issue for over 15 years
  • falkorSat Mar 06, 2021 8:14 pm

ade174 wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 12:09 amover some time on you tube ive seen PCSO punched and stabbed so why are they not aloud to carry the asp for protection ?
