haha nice one PM I think that's for off licences as well :slch2:

Pretty sure that Wasting Time one has been issued for BOMB HOAX if just a very local disturbance caused - quite a good ticket to be able to give out actually :slead:

"Sells or attempts to sell alcohol to a person who is drunk".

You could ticket every pub and club employee every Friday and Saturday night for that.

Wasting police time? I can think of a few colleagues who should get a ticket for that!

Can issue a ticket for wasting police time! That's interesting. Might use that next time someone asks for directions. I jest of course. :)

Could someone describe the power precisely and the training given? Anyone used it yet?

I'm jealous! Hopefully that'll encourage other forces to follow suit.

Speaking of powers, has anyone had a change to their powers as a result of the amendments to the ASB Act? I'm still waiting to hear if our Chief Con will give us the dispersal power.

PCSOs cannot be designated the power to issue a PND for shop theft, so no there shouldn't be any issuing them.

I heared some areas of England were experimenting with FPNs for shoplifting, is this still going on and if so, are PCSOs in those areas given the power to FPN for shoplifting?

Clearly there is still no such thing as 'standard powers'.

Hi
Probably setting myself for some abuse here, but what powers would be good to have and i feel that it would be very useful is the stop and search powers, i'm not sure if this has been mentioned on this site before and i hope i'm not stirring up old arguments. also would other pcso's be willing to have more powers and responsibility for the same wage that they are on already ?
