Re: Ambulance chaser banned from road after 'tailgating' cra

Magistrate Malcolm Jones said: "We seriously considered sending you to custody." It amazes me that they'd consider sending a bit of a div to prison for tailgating an ambulance, but yet offenders can commit 10 robberies and still not be sent to prison? Whilst I agree, the offence is dangerous, incon...

Re: TVP medical

I can confirm that my medical with TVP did NOT result in them cutting out a large chunk of hair lol.

They took urine and tested it, that was all.

The OHU in Kidlington is just like a doctors surgery, don't worry!

Re: The Cuts thread

Well.... having just watched the beginning of the spending review, it states....

Police budgets will be cut by 4% over the next 4 years.

To be honest, that's not too bad :)

Re: You're the Chief - Would you keep us?

It's nice to hear everyones views. The post was not meant to upset or annoy anyone, i'm just interested in hearing people's views. To avoid any "wannabe PC" comments coming up, YES, I do want to become a PC - and have passed all the tests to start. That doesn't mean I don't do my PCSO job properly -...

You're the Chief - Would you keep us?

I'm sure this post will cause a whole lot of controversy - but I think it's something that needs to be discussed. IF you were the Chief Constable in these hard times of lack of money, lack of resources, lack of just about everything.... and, you would receive no critisism for disbanding PCSO's or co...

As always, there are always two sides to every story.

However, if it as as the paper reports it - what happened to discretion?

Re: Some police ‘off work for 17 weeks per year'

"Do not work past 8pm"??

Since when has that been the case?

Half of our shifts finish at midnight, and occasionally we work until 2am if there is an operation.

Sarge, Front Door is a members only area IS IT placing the information into the public domain? Front Door is only available to our members - not the general public ALSO I feel that if his force was to find out that he has copied that Chief Constable's bulletun, they wouldn't be bothered anyway this...
