We were cut back last april. We are now S.P.O.C.s for different skills. I.e mental health,DV and the like. We work between 0800 - 1800 hrs and work one weekend in three. It is frustrating not being around in the evenings and not being out on the streets. That aside the job is interesting and challen...

We used to do three days, four lates finishing at midnight sat and sun all other lates were 2200 hrs then three week days off followed by four days, three lates followed by four days off over the weekend. We are changing in April and our hour will be between 8am and six pm as these are the core hour...

According to a unison post on facebook West Midland Pcso's are safe after the Constabulary and PCC did a U turn.

We will also be Working 0800 - 1800 mon to sun, split into three shift.......because as We all know nothimg hapoens after 1800.. And everyone We need to see is in before 1800.

Hmmmm Cut Budgets, reduce the number of Officers with little or no chance of replacement. Expect Officers to be out on the street......No offence to our PC colleagues but when was the last time they had the time to be on the streets. This whole situation is dangerous and soon there will be more trag...

I have been to Custody a fair few times and I have only been asked to leave once as the "guest" had assaulted an officer the week before......I took him In the week before and helped restrain him.....
