Re: Anger Grows Over Forest Sell-Off Plans

Think I read somewhere that the Forestry Commission only owns 18% of England's
forests anyhow. The rest being privately owned. Shall try and dig out the website
backing this up.

Re: PCSO RECRUITING

12 months work is better than nothing. I have just signed on the dole today. This is the third time
in two years. Getting really sick of it. Welcome to the private sector.
Really should have applied for the Police years ago. If only we can time travel lol.

Re: Re-assurances on the role.

Girlfriends uncle runs a nick in Cheshire, and has nothing but praise for his PCSO's. Keeps telling me that he could not operate as efficiently as it is without PCSO's.

Re: Is this a rumour or not? 90 days notice to their PCSO’s?

This could be one of those rumours started by anti PCSO people. So could probably turn out to be a load of pap. Lad at work, his mum works for West Yorkshire police and was telling him that newly trained up and current PCSO's going through training are going to get laid off. More established PCSOs a...

Re: Durham Police issues 90 Days notice to all staff

Just heard this on radio 1. Reporter said that Durham are thinking of laying off all PCSOs and civilian staff. But like was mentioned, sounds like sensationalism at the moment. As the reporter only mentioned that Durham are THINKING of it. Anyhow, for me, it looks like my North Yorkshire application...

Re: Support officers commended

Tell you what, im really getting bored of Brians comments now. As a member of the public I think all Brianb brings to this forum an an agressive view point and should be excluded. Sorry if you think this is too harsh. But from a country that doesnt have PSCOs what authority does he have.

Re: West Midlands PCSO cycling kit

I Like then Porlus they look good except for the 5 and the white laces Yeah shame isnt it. The laces can always be changed. But dont think the gaffers would be too keen on the white 5. Cycling head on now. Normally when looking for cycling footwear, the stiffer the sole the better. But too stiff an...
