Re: Entire police team sacked for playing poker and backgamm

With this story in mind, I have made my novel, Plastics available again for free download for the next three days. The title debate aside those guys that read the novel last time were eventually won over by the themes of the book. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plastics-ebook/dp/B00915Z8WA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UT...

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

I'm afraid Amazon only allow a five day free promotion, which ended yesterday. You can still get it for less than £2 on amazon though. Just type in my surname and it will come up. The paperback is £5.99 if you don't like reading on a screen.

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

Thanks for taking the time to read the book in context PI and GI. I'm really happy that you enjoyed it and were able to appreciate the undertones.

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

I'm glad that you are coming round to it. As stated in the blurb the characters are fictional. I COULD write a book on some of the scandals that have happened within the Leeds NPTs that I have worked with over the last 7 years but that would be betraying some of my best friends. I wrote this book fo...

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

Maybe I should have pointed this out, I thought the blurb on Amazon would have been clear. There is a LOT of industrial language in this book. As the blurb states, The Beastmaster is busy date raping, blackmailing and stitching up his PCSO colleagues. Don't download the book if bad language and sex ...

Oh my word. Good on you for writing something, but really? Do I really want to read about some moron masturbating over a 14 year old girl and all the slags he f***s? No thanks.
Don't worry, he gets his comeuppance.

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

The paperback is 236 pages long. I take it as a great compliment that he has read two thirds of the book in a a couple of days. Seven minutes actually That's a good point actually. PI and GI, if you hadn't read the book at 8:48, then stated that you would rate it at 8:57, then had read 2/3 of it at...

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

Ok, here's some real positive critism from a real PCSO. I have read about two thirds of this 'book'. Whilst I appreciate and understand how the writer has tried to separate real events and perhaps the people linked with these events by using false names which is fine but the grammar and story telli...

Re: A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

I have not read this, but surely the author would perhaps be aware that after 'working' alongside us for 7 years as quoted, then maybe the title 'plastics' is not the best title as it immediatley gives the wrong idea! My perception in his post is that he wants the readers to be aware of the role an...

A novel about PCSOs (free copy)

Hi guys, My name is Paul Wojnicki, author of No Cure for Baldness and Soberphobia. I spent seven years working alongside PCSOs from West Yorkshire Police and have recently published a new novel called Plastics. B00915Z8WA Don't be offended by the title, the book is in no way derogatory. It is merely...
