Re: Recruitment is back on

Bert

I wish it was actually a no brainer, however both jobs have appeal

I am leaning towards the engineer position simply because of the way Wiltshire Police have messed me around but that is the only reason I have so far

Re: Recruitment is back on

Thanks Wiggum

on that theme though I am worried I will regret not taking the engineer position because that job is something new for me after spending so long in the army.

I am lucky to have a choice, just need to make the right choice.

Re: Recruitment is back on

Engineer yes, because it is skilled and well paid

however I applied to be a PCSO because it is a skill in itself, may not be well paid but I see a lot of job satisfaction in it.

Shift Patterns

Got a question that I am struggling to get the answer to.

Does anybody in here know the shift pattern for Wiltshire Police PCSO's, or at least signpost me to the info, I can't find anything on Wiltshire police website

However this start date may still not happen and get put back again. Oh what to do, both jobs I believe suit me to the gro...

Re: My Recruitment so far

Not sure how basic training has changed from the early days of PCSO however from what I am being told I will do 16 weeks. 12 of them weeks are done at HQ so I am guessing classroom and role play exercises. The final four weeks are on a shift pattern at a station being mentored. I believe that the in...

My Recruitment so far

So for the first time since 2011 Wiltshire police opened the recruitment process for PCSO and I decided to apply. My first hurdle was filling out the application form and to be as thorough as possible, I didn't want to fall down at the first obstacle. The application form had to be done electronical...
