During training we were all told about this new helmet, if trials go well then were are to get a blue version of it. The union rep said they had pushed for more head protection for the male pcso’s, but when shown what we would get they wish they hadn’t.

Yep blue helmets !

We got told about this during our training, it's supposed to be a shortened version of the existing custodian. To be honest I’m no fan of the flat cap but given the choice flat cap it is :twisted:

I think the saying is prevention is better than cure, as sheriff says it will possible be a matter of time before something bad happens. Why is there not any government guidelines covering standard kit issue?
