Just thought I would bump this thread in-case anyone reading in the future is interested. So passed all my pre-employment checks and vetting, medical etc. I start at Merseyside tomorrow to begin my training.

Hi all, Back on this forum after a very long time. Whilst i am not a PCSO (yet), i have been a Ambulance Attendant with St John and use of Med Gases like Narcan require frequent usage to become proficient and not to mention regular refreshers etc... Personally anything beyond ELS/First Aid is beyond the skill required of a PCSO from his/her role. If...

A Little advice
Guys/Gals, I have recently applied to become a PCSO with GMP. Two issues i am worried about: 1. My Wife is a foreign national (been here since may 08 on settlement visa) 2. My younger brother had a run in with the law back when her was 14, very minor but he still ended up in court of the whole thing...
