Re: A Caution??

You'll be surprised. It seems assault police is treated less than a common assault.

Re: The Specials

My guv basically said if we had a known burglar in an alleyway where he shouldn't ect he'd expect them to be turned over. Some human rights groups are trying to get stop and search removed as its been abused in the past, eg people are being searched when they are given traffic process. There's a hig...

The fact someone say is a known shoplifter isn't enough. I think some people have been using these as grounds in the past without anything else

Re: PCSO's in London

Re: Police stop-and-search 'waste of time'

Im sorry if I don't have a crystal ball and can predict who has something on them. In the whole if you have the right grounds then that should be the end of it. And i hate the race involvment. If you work in an area which is diverse for example I work in Southall. It'd be fair to say the majority of...

Re: Police convoy....

Depends on the van, some can be more awkward for space with the cage or seats by the door in the way. I fit a moped in a van once but even that was tight

Re: PCSO's need more PPE !!

This could easily happen to a PC, if it was as quick as it sounds I doubt the outcome would have been different with PPE in the mix

Re: Handcuffs

We can refuse to do it as a PCSO, but everyone know who is in the job its easier to say that than do it and the job know this! In my force, comms operators, comms supervisors, beat supervisors and response supervisors have all been known to tell PCSOs not to attend something which is clearly outsid...

Re: Might sound weird, but playing rugby as a PCSO

Ive been playing rugby for around 3/4 years now. Theres nothing they can do to stop you, but any injuries that occur will be off your own back and it will be no different to the people who are constantly off sick for various things and getting stuck on. I've been lucky only to have a broken nose dur...
