As a previous employee of the Hampshire Police as a Traffic many years ago my job went over to the Council in Portsmouth.
Portsmouth City Council, Will want to take control as they will see this as a MONEY making issue.
There do not care who doe's what unless they can make money.

I have been a PCSO since they where first employed in my Constabulary (I was one of the first) but I was a Traffic Warden before then, and at the time I was allowed 10 days special paid leave but this was reduced to 5 days when my Annual leave entitlement was increased to 29 days from 24 days I am s...

Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal.

I not here to reopen the debate on the issue of the QDJM to PCSOs who will be eligible for the medal.

I am intrested to know out of all the PCSOs who get the medal who will wear theirs with pride and thoughs who will sell theirs on ebay or some other way.

The Police Officer is part of the Local SNT, he was part of the operation, the idea was not only to remind motorist but also to provide crime prevention advice as part of Op Rocky

The point is that its not an award, its Her Majestys way of celebrating her SIXTY years as our Queen, Maybe some folks have a point on regarding who qualify and who don't and I must agree with that, But I guess there must be some way of fairness, who decides this I don't know.
