Re: PCSO's need more PPE !!

It is time a review was conducted, I feel the issuing of handcuffs can not be too far away. Too many Pcso`s being injured on duty how long can they continue to say this is a non confrontational role. I hear of Pcso being assulted on a weekly bases. it just not good enough.

Re: PCSO's Non-Confrontational !! WHAT A JOKE !!

Please vote in survey regarding handcuff. I think it is time to consider the issuing of cuffs to all pcso,s. The public will mo longer except us standing back and watching criminals whilst waiting for a police officer to arrive. Too many pcso,s are being attacked. Or assaulted whilst trying to do t...

Handcuffs

I need to know what PCSO,s think about being issued with handcuffs. Do you think that the job should remain as a non confrontational role with management disciplining pcso,s who go out side of the current direction of stand back and observe and report on the radio or should we be issued handcuffs an...

Re: Injury on duty

For minor injury (like last time, my back was hit by the side mirror of a moving transit van!), I went back to station, reported to my sarge, went to custody and checked by FMO, then bye-bye, go home. :slby: For serious injury, you do nothing, someone will call 999 and send you to A&E, police offic...
