Jon Yea they have changed it because when I did my entry exams I had a written exam which was basically watching a video clip of a crime taking...

Quiz Problems

I love doing the quizzes on here, but some of the quizzes come up with a http 404 error when I click on them such as Falkors Manual Handling quiz and others.. Also are these user made quizzes any good for the PCSO exams I will do in training? Are they the type of multiple choice questions I will be ...

Im 21, but not for much longer. I look younger then I am as well. When I was a bit younger i got told I have a baby-face, I don't know if that is still the case however. The only thing that kind of gives my age away is my facial hair when I don't shave! But then again most 15/16 year old boys now ha...

Ah don't worry about it. These things happen. As long as you did it all to the best of your ability and gave a little bit of a push then im sure the results will be fine! I learned something after I did the exam. (This goes for everybody about to do a Day 1 entry exam). NEVER speak to anybody else a...

Despite these unfortunate stories above, I'm still looking towards joining the BTP as a PCSO because I'm sick & tired of neighbourhood policing with its church coffee mornings, school talks, visiting parents and other such wastes of time. I joined the police to POLICE not to be a reject social/...

When I went for my Day 2 at Hendon I got offered a job as an SPCSO or Station Police Community Support Officer. I think you do 2 days street patrol a month and the rest of the time it is on the front desk in a Police Station. Apparently it is great for PCSO's wanting to become a PC because they teac...

When I complete my training, I would love to do something like this. Give kids' chats about road safety and the dangers of playing in roads etc.. Love kids, but I couldn't eat a whole one!! (What my mum used to say anyway). But I love kids, when they belong to somebody else!!

Although I am not a PCSO yet, I do still wish to air my view on things, so please be gentle with me as this may come across niave. In my opinion I have read about the powers that we have as a PCSO (with the exception of regional powers) and I am happy with the way things are. I think if you gave PCS...
