The blue and white chequered hat band is much more hi-vis then our pale grey and blue hat band. This is why it's currently being looing into....... a health and safety issue.

I agree. Justify your actions and use reasonable force. Yes, use reasonable force. If someone's coming towards you with a knife then anything goes eh? And PCSO's could be trained easlily on this :idea: If Martial Arts are going to get you out of every tricky siutation then why not train ALL Police ...

I think it's appauling. There needs to be a equal balance. Too many PCSO's and not enough Police Officers equates to trouble in my opinion. Who's going to be there to back us up?
