I wonder how many they will manage to recruit before the end of the month. Hopefully quite a lot!

Door to Freedom puzzle

Fancy your luck? How good are your instincts? Here's a scenario for you all. Door to Freedom. -------------------------------------- You wake up in a strange room, there are four doors labelled: A, B, C & D. You find a note on the floor, "Three of these doors lead to certain death, one leads to free...

Re: 2012 computer games

I'm really excited for the new Xcom game, looks great. But first Mass Effect 3 which I shall be playing soon. It actually has a lot in common with Xcom, characters can die, lots of research to choose from, taking on evil aliens, and in this latest one I hear you defend Earth. It's just it's a thid p...

Re: As a PCSO, will you strike on Nov 30th

I'm going on strike, but I didn't vote to strike. I guess my ballot paper was lost in the post or something. So yes, that's my reason for not voting, not because I couldn't be bothered! Strange but true. So... if I go on strike three times in a row, do I get a turkey sandwich? /Obscure Xmas bowling ...

Re: Section 59 warning

Wowsers, that flowchart is pretty confusing, I think looking at the link further above would probably be better as it gives a clear explanation as to how it all works. Just read the wording carefully. Be sure to create both a CAD and a crimint (information report) as soon as possible with both the r...

Ladies & Gents, let's try to stay on topic with the riots please and how everyone is coping.

Feel free to start another topic regarding the particulars of contracts and if we are obligated to stay on duty. Cheers.
Stay safe out there everyone, let's look after each other. :)

He was repeatedly kicked in the head? Sounds like they were trying to kill him, really nasty stuff. Not so sure I'd want to continue working at that school after that. Hope he's alright now.

Yes, same job, different name. Incidentally I'm sure it doesn't stop the odd person asking if you're the local neighbourhood watch.

Litter picking and putting flyers on people's cars?

Hmm, it doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about to me. Unless he is deliberatley trying to mislead people so he can get his way. Maybe someone should explain to him exactly what the PCSO role is all about.

If it was just handcuffs I might believe it, but a baton as well, I would be amazed if that happened.

Re: Cycling on pavements

I always give people a chance to pass the attitude test and they usually do where I work I have to say. If someone started arguing I'd be very tempted to ticket them, you have after all been kind enough to let them off with a warning, and there is nothing that states you have to do that. But I read ...

Re: Google+ or Facebook?

I think Google+ will have to offer a far superier service to take away a lot of Facebook's customers. I think maybe this is too little too late, but if they give enough incentive, I'm sure it's possible. Just look at how popular this Twitter is, which I'm informed is just a skeleton version of Faceb...

Re: Why the mobile networks are to blame for phone "hacking"

Wow, you know I had no idea it was so easy to listen to someone elses voicemail. The term hacking brings to mind some sort of sophisticated illegal software, but clearly this isn't the case. Personally I turned my answer machine off. Considering it costs money to listen to your own messages, I'm hap...
