Written exam assessment
I want to apply for a PCSO position, but I am worried about my hand writing. I can spell reasonably well but for years I have always written in block capitals. Would this be frowned upon in the written exam?
Re: Written exam assessment
I wouldnt worry too much, you dont need to write joined up and the main point is that your handwriting can be read....
I would however practice writing in lower case / on your punctuality and spelling.
In some forces you are only allowed so many spelling / punctuality mistakes as part of the assessment.
It shouldnt take you too long to be comfortable writing in lower case and it will look better on the assessment.

My handwriting is shocking, just make sure you can write reasonably quickly.
If using capitals, do it so you differentiate between letters that are supposed to be capitals. I.E. start of words abbreviations ETC.
