National PCSO Conference

Post by tom » Thu Sep 21, 2006 12:01 am

Considering the amount of PCSO`s now in service and the amount due to come into forces, would people be interested in a National PCSO conference, to include workshops on issues we have, lectures/talks on certain areas of policing and the opportunity to meet others in the same roll from around the country?

i was thinking the NEC in Birmingham as i know a few people there who would be able to help with arranging it. Plus its fairly central and has very good bus, rail and road network access, and plenty of hotels.

I think that is a great idea, not only will it be great for discussing issues, it would be good from a social aspect also. :D

If Unison agreed to fund it everyone who attended would have to be Unison members and not all PCSO are members so wouldn't be able to attend...
