Last night the site seemed to be very up and down. one minute it would take a second or two the next I would need to log out and give it a few minutes.

seems fine again now though.

My computer is getting on a bit now and getting kind of weary. However the site is fast and I don't have any problems at all. So don't know why it's slow for some and not for others :? No problems at all for me Falkor :D

Got to admit the site has been running slow lately, not sure why as i havent had any problems with other sites. Im sure it will sort itself out though.

I had problems logging in and looking at posts today and yesterday. The site seems to be going very slow.

I must have spoken too soon  .............

I go to my emails to see what Threads have been answered. I usually click the link and it takes me straight there. Today it took me to the log in page, and then took ages from there. It's never done that before!

Very slow today, I had to log in despite being shown as already logged in.

Taking ages to post or find threads.

well the hosts have offered me a change of server
Subject: RE: slow on site
Date: 2007-11-01 Time: 19:41:19
Dear Malcolm,

I am sorry to hear that you are continuing to experience difficulties with your site, whilst we are not currently able to replicate these issues or detect any problems with the current account, as a valued customer we are happy to move your account to an alternative server to see if this resolves the intermittent issues that you are currently experiencing.

The server that we will move your account to is the same as that currently hosting your prisonofficer.org.uk account. Please let us know the time/date that you would like us to schedule this for, we generally recommend that this be during an evening or at the weekend when the website will be quiet, and that all data be backed up by yourself before the transfer is made.

Best Regards,

Shaun Smith
Blackfoot Support
seeing as the prisonofficer.org site has been performing superbly since launch I have taken Shaun up on his offer

sometime after 8pm tomorrow (2 11 07) the hosts will move us to the same server that hosts the prison officer site

Now disruption or loss of service may occur for some while after the stated time, if so please bear with us
