Maybe I should have pointed this out, I thought the blurb on Amazon would have been clear. There is a LOT of industrial language in this book. As the blurb states, The Beastmaster is busy date raping, blackmailing and stitching up his PCSO colleagues.

Don't download the book if bad language and sex offends you.

It's alright, I'm past it. It's not a bad book so far. Is any of this actually based on reality? I hope to God it isn't and if so I thank him I'm not based in Leeds. Although one of the characters sounds familiar....

What Inspired you to write a book about PCSO's ?

I guess if you like Irvine Welsh then this book will be a good and gritty read. I will give it a go at some point

I'm glad that you are coming round to it. As stated in the blurb the characters are fictional. I COULD write a book on some of the scandals that have happened within the Leeds NPTs that I have worked with over the last 7 years but that would be betraying some of my best friends. I wrote this book for them and it is dedicated to them.

We all know PCSOs AND regular PCs that give the force a bad name, and this book doesn't hide from the fact that there are bad apples walking the beat. But it also seeks to address the gross mistreatment of PCSOs by the media and, in many cases, their own colleagues (note the sergeant's attitude to what he calls C3PO's in the book).

Thanks for taking the time to read it properly and giving your constructive criticism.

After reading the rest of the book in slow time, i would like to say well done, I now appreciate the way in which it was written and also find many paralells in what you have put in the book, like daily anacodotes with the sgts anti pcso views, a lot of these things are veyr close ot home. Well done.

Thanks for taking the time to read the book in context PI and GI. I'm really happy that you enjoyed it and were able to appreciate the undertones.

I'm afraid Amazon only allow a five day free promotion, which ended yesterday. You can still get it for less than £2 on amazon though. Just type in my surname and it will come up. The paperback is £5.99 if you don't like reading on a screen.

Read the book thought it was a really good read. Some really cringy moments ,it makes you really hate the main guy Craig, I thought the new guy called Andrew was well funny , all in all really good read.
