Hi guys. Glad to hear some of you are getting start dates now. I've been waiting about 5 weeks (since my day 2 assessment) and still haven't heard anything as of yet! Just thought I'd revive this thread to see whether anyone else who had their day 2 in August is experiencing similar delays? I did have a phone call from the vetting unit to clarify a few addresses a couple of weeks back now, so I can only assume things are moving - all be it a little slow.

Also, I'd be interested to hear from the people who have received their start dates, where abouts their training is taking place as I understand there are a number of training centres throughout London.

Cheers

Afternoon all,

Just thought I would add to this as I have been away for the last week and a half in turkey :D
I did my day 2 on 21st Aug, I rang vetting just before I left and as told my application went in at the end of Aug and that it would take 35 working days. In hope I kept checking my emails whilst I was away but no joy as of yet. Rang them again today and was told that it is very nearly complete so thought I might try and get HR to apply for my references now to try and get things moving but like most you I am still playing the waiting game. I also came home to find the break down of how my day one went all the way back at the end of June ! Although I must admit the letting with it did sound quite apologetic that due to the move from Hendon to Empress State Building things had been slowed down considerably.

Hope we all here soon!

Hi everyone I'm new to this site, I had my day 2 on 11/07/2012.
I recently e-mailed hr and was told that my application was at "offer management review " has anyone heard of this or at the same stage as me? I would appreciate any help or advice.

Hi Quest. I had my day 2 on 20/8/2012, so about a month behind you. I phoned HR about three weeks ago and was told my application was at "'passed day 2 assessment' but no further action has been taken". Whilst I was speaking to the lady in HR she mentioned that 'under offer review' (or something similar to those words) meant that all the vetting and referencing had been completed and your application was getting the final once over. So I'm guessing you should hear something soon.

Has anyone received training dates for November yet? It sounds like they may be issuing a course every month perhaps?

Mine's at offer management review too. HR says that there's around a hundred of us at the stage. Just gotta hold tight and wait!.

The application process has stopped due to apparent budget cuts, so all the bs of so many pcso's required, This is a sudden mayoral or government back tracking intervention. :slra:
