pcso's in new met policing model

Post by axion20 » Thu Jun 13, 2013 8:43 pm

Does anyone understand how the PCSO role will continue as part the new Met Local Policing Model?

It seems that there will only be one PCSO per SNT and the remaining officers will
be deployed as part of a cluster team where needed.

So how is team selection being made, does a PCSO have input in the decision
and how will the cluster team operate?

One Named PCSO per ward. The surplus officer will be in a new team to cover the cluster they are on. This is changing and this will be done in 2014
