Re: Suffolk changes
jay 1,
Do you think the PCSO losses can be managed by natural wastage or are you expecting redeployments and redundancies.
The PCC makes a very valid point regarding other agencies dumping their workload on to the police with a good example of mental health issues. The need for the police to have stricter screening processes and refusing to attend something that is clearly not a police matter is something I've mentioned here and elsewhere.

I have seen the truth and it makes no sense.

Re: Suffolk changes
Will you be working Bank Holidays or has your Senior Management Team finally realised that criminals don't offend on BH's?

falkor,
I'm tempted to say yes but it's probably better to ignore him. He can be entertaining in his stupidity though, like a not very bright puppy.

Hi Guys,
Morale is so low at the moment even though we have some breathing space i still believe that the role of a PCSO as we see it will go and we will possibly be re deployed if we are lucky and if we do,it will be in a role that probably is still called " Neighbourhood policing " but will be earning less than what we do now and probably not operational but we will be still lucky to have a job....I hope,
