Anything we can get our hands on.
Ford Focus/Fiesta/Connect van is my usual mode of transport.
We're allowed to drive anything up to a certain BHP, marked or unmarked.

all i want is a bike dont want to drive a car wouldnt mind been a passenger but profer not to drive.

we have 2 dedicated pcso drivers in the area i work but there both on the same team (not my team) and can drive a van or a car but no blue and twos allowed.

the reason i would rather be on a bike is cos i can get places a car cant and if im a passenger its not my responsability to lock the car before a foot persuit takes palce i can just alight from the vehcile and be off.

We're allowed to drive anything with a "standard" rating - which in effect means any normal marked or unmarked passenger car or the smallest vans - once a basic driving assessment has been passed.

It's very rare that we get the chance to drive a vehicle at my station though, as there's such demand for transport amongst the core and beat PCs.

I know that PCSOs at other Durham stations do have their own dedicated transport in some cases.

As previous said we can drive the astra/focus panda cars and any pool cars, marked or unmarked. Can only use blues while stationary to warn of a hazard.
