missed out on the best overtime ever!

Post by ruben » Thu Nov 26, 2009 12:50 am

Well it was a normal day at work pushing panda's when another cop off my shift came up to me and said "the boss wants another cop to go down to wales with me to pick up a prisoner".

i was due to finish at 12 but we were going to leave at 10. bearing in mind i work near newcastle, it was a 12hr round trip so the overtime money alone would have been in excess of £250.

i went and picked up the new PSU van, fueled it and stocked it with plenty of red bull, only to get a P2P call 5 mins later telling me the lad in question was just going to get bailed :slra:

never mind, missed out on possibly the best overtime ever! :slsic:

They won't pay us over time... which is a shame as I could do with the extra cash.
