Renault Clio heading for a burger bar

Post by falkor » Sat Oct 13, 2012 9:21 pm

this daft nursery school teacher was caught driving with 19 kids stuffed inside her Renault Clio.

Careless Melanie Minnie was pulled over by police in South Africa after they spotted her and the crammed motor heading for a burger bar.

Officers were appalled to find she had successfully squeezed the kids, aged four to six, into the vehicle for a short trip from a shopping centre to Rietfontein Nursery School in Pretoria.

Six children were found in the car’s boot, at least three were on the front seat and the remaining 10 piled into the back.

It was unclear whether any of them were wearing seat-belts
The toddlers were eventually removed from the car, all unharmed.

Ms Minnie told police she was in the process of ferrying a SECOND car-load of youngsters back to the nursery.

Apparently, another 12 children had already been bundled into the Clio.

She was fined just over £100 after admitting she overloaded the motor for the bizarre trip.

Ms Minnie said: “It was the first time we went on an outing, and the last. I’ll never do it again.”
