Playstation 4

Post by Lieutenant fatman » Tue Feb 19, 2013 7:44 pm

Sony and Microsoft are preparing to announce their next generation consoles.
Tomorrow evening is the Playstation Meeting, journalists all over the world have been invited to the event that takes place at 11pm.

These events are only ever used to announce a brand new console, and so there will be a large audience online eagerly awaiting to see exactly what Sony have up their sleeves this time round. They claim they are going to change gaming with this one, so stay tuned! It's going to be big! :slgg:

For now Sony have reminded us about when they got into games back in the 90s.

it certainly would be good to celebrate the original Playstation and it's launch games. That YouTube barely does that but then I guess it's a tall order in 5 minutes

here's the video looking forward http://youtu.be/5hjx2Sd52U4 and BOY are there some promises here and on top of that >> half life 3 confirmed :slch2: what the heck is "steambox"? :slwot:

The games so far are looking very interesting aren't they? I'm excited to hear more, bring on E3!

Steam box is something Valve is making, I haven't really looked into it, I think it's meant to be an alternative to using Windows to play PC type games but you can also hook it up to the television. Haven't heard much info on it yet. I get the impression it will have a pretty high price.

I think we'll be lucky if it's that cheap.. but it's possible!
I love a good RPG myself so I'm interested in the titles you mentioned as well. Hoping they turn out to be great. :slsm:
