game of thrones TV series
Just seen Series 1, my Mum had the boxset from my brother
quite an epic journey - wow, anyone else see it? the last episode in Series 1 finishes with the khaleesee doing a funeral pyre for her husband and this is an amazing culmination - hoo hoo!

Hubby and I are massive fans! Just watched the last episode in series 3 and if you have not seen it yet I shant reveal too much. Just that I was on the edge of my seat and there was a moment as momentous as when Ned Stark was decapitated by Joffrey in series 1 (Love Joffrey who is just so deliciously evil)
Brilliant TV!!

Brilliant TV!!
Re: game of thrones TV series
I enjoyed the first series enough that I bought several of the books on which it's based. What a disappointment they become as the series goes on
- it turns from a fairly tight, well-paced storyline into a meandering bloat-fest, with more and more characters introduced, more and more threads within the story line and all ends up .. rather lost.
