PCSO who bartered crystal meth for child porn jailed after discussing trip to Thailand to rape children

A PCSO who bartered crystal meth for child porn has been jailed.

Police were stunned to discover their colleague had a sickening stash of videos which showed horrific sexual attacks on young children.

Now James Wicks who took and supplied illegal drugs and discussed travelling to Thailand to rape children has been jailed for two years.

The 35 year-old had 'some of the worst' child abuse videos in his possession when officers found his 'shocking' and 'disturbing' stash.

A community support officer at Thames Valley Police , he admitted taking crystal meth to a friend's house to share for the purposes of 'sexual pleasure'.

He also swapped the class A drug - which is formally known as methamphetamine - for indecent movies of children.

Wicks, of Basingstoke then uploaded 38 'alarming' videos to a memory stick before leaving his friend's home.

He then distributed some of the clips through Skype for the 'entertainment of other ill-minded individuals'.

Detectives also discovered internet-based chats from his computer - which included him discussing travelling to Thailand to 'rape' children with friends.

His offending took place during the period he held the role of PCSO between October 2012 and October 2015.

Wicks was today jailed at Winchester Crown Court after admitting six counts of possessing indecent images of a child.

He also admitted distributing an indecent image of a child and one offence of being concerned in supplying a class A drug.

Wicks will be on the sex offender register for 10 years and will also be subject to a sexual harm prevention order after his release.

Following the sentence, John Montague, Senior District Crown Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service in Wessex, said: "This case is simply shocking and disturbing.

"The movies found in possession of James Wicks can be described as some of the worst type classified as category A seen by experienced officers in the child abuse team .

You seem to have a propensity for posting news articles featuring misdoings by PCSO's coupled with a knee jerk defence when police officers are found wanting. You have claimed to disagree with the role of PCSO yet it seems more a dislike than a disagreement in principle. As a form of balance, I'll post these links :

It really shouldn't be a case of us v them when it comes to PCSO's and Police and maybe after reading these two news reports you'll realise how prejudiced you appear, although I doubt it. The question is, if you hate PCSO's that much, why are you on this site? Trolling, perhaps?
